ISLAMABAD: A three-day free medical camp was organised under the direction of Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa, from 22nd to 24th December 2024, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the local community.
The concluding day of the camp on 24th December was successfully managed by the Islamabad Employees Social Security Institution (IESSI) at the BHU/Women Development Centre in Chirah. The camp provided basic medical services to over 361 patients from the surrounding areas.
The event was supervised by Commissioner Social Security, Rabia Aurangzeb, with a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and paramedics offering a variety of services, including general health check-ups, specialized consultations, laboratory testing, and the distribution of free medicines.
On the final day, Nisha Ishtiaq, Director of Women Development, visited the site and distributed Goody bags and food among the children, adding a special touch to the community outreach effort.
This initiative shows IESSI’s ongoing dedication to public health and helping the community by making healthcare available to those in need. The local residents were very grateful for the medical care and support they received during the camp.
