Six Family Members Killed, Three Injured in Muridke Road Tragedy

MURIDKE: A tragic incident unfolded late Friday night as six members of a single family were killed, while three others sustained injuries in a road mishap in Muridke, as per a report from a private TV channel.

The accident transpired on the Grand Trunk (GT) Road in the Rayanpur area of Muridke, where a recklessly driven mini-truck collided head-on with a car, resulting in the immediate demise of six individuals and causing injuries to three others.

Promptly, police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and promptly transported the deceased and wounded to a nearby hospital. According to rescue sources, among the deceased were a woman and three children.

The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab conveyed his condolences over the tragic loss of six lives in the traffic accident and instructed to ensure the provision of optimal medical care to the injured.
