ISLAMABAD: On Election Day in Pakistan, mobile cellular services and Internet continue to be suspended due to security concerns, causing inconvenience for millions.
The 8300 SMS Service for updating voter records requires individuals to input their CNIC without hyphens or spaces and send it to 8300.
Additionally, on Thursday, the Election Commission’s monitoring system and complaints cell remained inactive.
The interruption of mobile phone services has also affected the SMS service 8300, which provides polling information.
Furthermore, aside from the mobile service suspension, there have been delays in the polling process across various regions of the country.
