ISLAMABAD: The online ticket platform for the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been reinstated.
Yesterday, just prior to the commencement of ticket sales, hackers launched an attack on the website, rendering fans unable to secure tickets.
Via the social networking site Twitter, league management notified fans that the technical team of PSL ticket partners is actively working to resolve the issues stemming from the cyber attack on the website.
PSL management has entered into a partnership with a private courier company for ticket distribution.
It’s worth noting that online ticket sales were slated to commence at 5 pm on Tuesday via the online booking portal.
The matches of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League are scheduled to take place in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi starting from February 17, with the final event set for March 18 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
