PTI Leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi Arrested in 12 More Cases

RAWALPINDI : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi was arrested in 12 more cases on Thursday.

According to the prosecutor, 12 cases have been registered against Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Rawalpindi in connection with the May 9 incident.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi is nominated in cases of attacks on GHQ, Army Museum, sensitive agency office and burning of metro bus station, police arrested him in all his 12 cases.

The prosecutor requested the court on Thursday to allow the physical remand of the PTI leader and investigation in all cases simultaneously. However, the court rejected the physical remand request and ordered him to be sent to jail on judicial remand.
