This action follows a thorough review conducted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, revealing significant irregularities that have compromised the quality of education provided to students at the University of Lakki Marwat.

In a notice released by the commission, it stated, “Following a recent inspection on September 21, 2023, serious irregularities and clear violations/non-compliance of HEC’s guidelines/criteria/policies were noted, negatively impacting the standard of education at the University of Lakki Marwat.”

The HEC confirmed a complete suspension on new admissions and affiliation grants for the university, cautioning all stakeholders against seeking admission to the institution.
