Born to Barrister Usman Cheema and Tayyaba Cheema, who hail from Lahore, Pakistan, Mahnoor’s family relocated to the UK in 2006 to pursue higher education. While her parents pursued academic pursuits at Lincoln’s Inn and SOAS, Mahnoor embarked on her educational journey at Langley Grammar School in West London after initially attending a private school in Lahore.

Mahnoor’s accomplishments extend beyond academics. She has achieved distinction in both ABRSM Music Theory and Practical at Grade 8, distinguishing herself as one of the youngest music diploma aspirants in the UK. Her intellectual pursuits have also led her to the prestigious John Locke essay competition, further exemplifying her multifaceted talents.

Expressing her passion for medicine, Mahnoor aspires to dedicate her life to the service of humanity through medical practice. Her drive is underscored by her stellar academic record and her performance in tests like the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) and the Biomedical Admissions Test (BMAT), where she achieved a score of 3,290 and ranked in the 99th percentile.

In an exclusive interview with a private TV channel, Mahnoor attributed her success to her unwavering determination and relentless work ethic. She emphasized her ability to set and focus on targets, guided by a deep sense of purpose to make her family proud and contribute positively to society.

While Mahnoor’s accomplishments are extraordinary, she remains grounded, enjoying a balanced life that includes leisure activities like playing the piano, horse riding, swimming, and chess, along with spending time with friends and family.

Mahnoor’s parents, Barrister Usman and Tayyaba Cheema, express immense pride in their daughter’s achievements, attributing her success to her initiative and dedication. They acknowledge her mother’s pivotal role in maintaining schedules and discipline while providing essential support.

Mahnoor’s extraordinary achievement includes proficiency in a diverse array of subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, English Literature, and several languages.
