Five more detection dogs from the Special Branch of the Punjab Police have concluded their years of service and were presented with well-deserved medals and certificates of appreciation. The retirement ceremony, attended by Additional IG Zulfikar Hameed, SSP Nadeem Abbas, and prominent animal rights activists, recognized the outstanding contributions of these loyal canines.

During the event, Additional IG Zulfikar Hameed expressed his satisfaction that the retired detection dogs will receive proper care and attention in their post-service lives. It is a customary practice to retire these dogs after eight years of dedicated service.

Dr. Osman, the head of the dog training center, disclosed that three other dogs had also recently retired. These retired canines are now enjoying a period of rest and relaxation, under the guidance of experts who oversee their dietary needs and continued training.
