ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has taken measures to guarantee a continuous supply of electricity to consumers during the Eidul Azha holidays, according to Chief Executive Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan. Special teams have been established by IESCO to accomplish this objective.

Dr. Khan stated that the operational staff’s holidays have been canceled, and special monitoring desks have been set up in all IESCO circles to promptly address consumer complaints related to electricity supply throughout the Eid holidays. In the event of an emergency, consumers are encouraged to contact the telephone number provided on their electricity bills, IESCO help line, Roshni SMS service, or the IESCO complaint and monitoring cell.

To ensure the provision of high-quality and timely services to customers, additional meters, HT/LT poles, transformers, and other necessary equipment have been provided to complaint offices. During the Eid holidays, CEO IESCO, along with Chief Engineer Operations Muhammad Aslam Khan, will personally oversee the operations, while more than 130 complaint offices will remain vigilant. Direct monitoring of these operations will be conducted.

Dr. Khan urged consumers not to tie sacrificial animals under electricity poles, transformers, and 11 KV wires. Additionally, the IESCO management appeals to everyone to refrain from disposing of animal trimmings near IESCO installations.
