ISLAMABAD: Following a joint meeting between the administration of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and officials from the Punjab Metro Bus Authority, the long-standing dispute over the payment of bus fare between Peshawar Mor and New Islamabad Airport has finally been resolved.
The CDA had been temporarily provided with fifteen buses from April 18 to August 30, with a rental cost of 23 crores.
In a significant development, the Punjab Metro Bus Authority has acknowledged the CDA as an interim arrangement, wherein the CDA will reimburse the authority the specified amount, and subsequently, the authority will transfer the funds to the private firm involved.
