SIALKOT: Hina Arshad Warraich of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won the PP-52 Sialkot (Sambriyal) by-election 2025. The returning officer officially issued the notification of her victory.

This seat fell vacant after the death of PML-N MPA Chaudhry Arshad Warraich.
After her win, Hina Warraich dedicated her victory to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and her late father. Celebrations took place at her residence, where supporters danced to dhol beats and fireworks lit up the night.
Meanwhile, PTI’s Fakhar Nishat Ghumman rejected the results and accused the government of rigging. He claimed Form-45s were prepared before polling ended and said the rigging method had changed this time. He added that PTI will discuss the next steps with party leadership.

In response, the Election Commission strongly denied the allegations of rigging and asked PTI to provide evidence. It assured that if proof is provided, the provincial election commissioner will take action.
