LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has announced that all board and university exams will resume from Monday, May 12, 2025. This includes both written and practical exams at public and private colleges and universities across the province.
All nine education boards of Punjab—Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, DG Khan, and Sahiwal—will conduct their exams as per the original schedule starting May 12.
The Higher Education Department has also stated that academic and administrative activities in all colleges and universities will restart from the same date.
Exams that were postponed earlier due to the temporary closure of institutions will be rescheduled, and new dates will be announced later by the concerned boards and universities.
Earlier this week, exams and classes were suspended due to security concerns caused by rising tension between India and Pakistan. The situation led to the closure of educational institutions across the province.
