“ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has established a special anti-corruption hotline to ensure accountability in the higher judiciary and remove obstacles to delivering swift justice to the public.
As per the press release, Chief Justice Yahya Afridi announced the initiative, emphasizing his commitment to fostering a corruption-free environment and upholding the principles of justice and accountability.
In a message to the public, Chief Justice Afridi said, “Assalam Alaikum! I am Justice Yahya Afridi, Chief Justice of Pakistan, addressing you. Providing swift justice, especially through the Supreme Court, is my top priority. In the past five months, while 7,633 cases were filed, your Supreme Court resolved 11,779 cases. With the new year, the pace of case decisions will increase further. I want to assure you that if you have a case in the Supreme Court, it will be decided soon based on merit.”
He urged citizens to report any demands for bribes or favors related to case fixation, obtaining copies, or any Supreme Court matter. “I have a zero-tolerance policy for bribery and favoritism. If anyone, whether a government or private individual, asks you for a bribe, inform me immediately. Your identity will remain confidential, and your complaint will be heard promptly,” he added.
The Chief Justice provided a WhatsApp number, 0326-4442444, for people to lodge complaints. An anti-corruption officer from the Supreme Court will stay in touch with complainants and update them on their cases.

The hotline provides a secure and private way for people to report bribery, favoritism, or corruption without worrying about any backlash.
It keeps the identity of those who report safe and allows them to stay anonymous if they choose. Operating round the clock, it can be accessed via phone, an online portal, email, or text messages, and is available in both Urdu and English for convenience.
An unbiased officer will handle all complaints and report directly to the Chief Justice to maintain fairness. Straightforward cases will be settled within 30 days, while more complicated ones may take up to 60 days.
People who file complaints will be kept informed about the progress of their cases regularly. This step reflects the Chief Justice’s efforts to strengthen public trust in the judiciary.
Citizens are encouraged to use the platform to help eliminate wrongdoing and promote transparency and merit. For more details, the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s website can be visited.
