KARACHI : Gas load shedding during Ramadan has caused inconvenience to citizens in many areas of Pakistan. Multiple cities, including Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Gujarat, and Sheikhupura, have reported shortages of gas, particularly during the hours of Sehr and Iftar.
Citizens have demanded that the government ensure gas supply according to schedule during these critical hours of Ramadan. In response, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed uninterrupted gas supply during Sehr and Iftar in Karachi.
At a meeting on gas load shedding in Karachi, the Prime Minister expressed his anger at the relevant authorities and criticized them for not having a comprehensive strategy in place to address the issue during Ramadan.
The citizens of Pakistan have expressed frustration at the inconvenience caused by the load shedding, which has disrupted their daily routines and added to their already challenging Ramadan experience. The government must take swift action to address the gas load shedding issue and ensure uninterrupted gas supply during Sehr and Iftar to allow citizens to observe their religious practices without any hindrance.
