After years of dominating the football field and amassing numerous awards, Cristiano Ronaldo has once again showcased his unparalleled determination to succeed and outshine his peers by achieving the title of the “most searched athlete” in Google’s history.

At 38 years old, Ronaldo has secured five Ballon d’Or trophies and numerous Champions League titles. Nonetheless, his recent accomplishment lies in his online prominence—specifically highlighted by Google’s records, as per goal.com reports.

Sharing the news on social media, Ronaldo uploaded a video echoing his famous celebratory phrase “siu”.

“Grateful to receive recognition as the most searched athlete in @google history,” read the caption on his Instagram account.

This feat comes as no surprise, given that the Portuguese sensation boasts approximately 615 million followers on Instagram alone, surpassing his longtime rival Lionel Messi, whose Instagram account has 495 million followers.

While Ronaldo and Messi are frequently compared on the field, it appears that the Portuguese striker stands unrivaled in captivating the masses.

The Al Nassr star commands fervent support worldwide and holds the title of the leading goal scorer in men’s football history.
