The ‘Rahguzar’ app will provide a platform for consumers, district governments, and law enforcement agencies to identify illegal shops or “box stations.”

In addition, Pakistani consumers will also be able to use the app to file complaints about illegal outlets, overcharging, or quality-related concerns, to ensure transparency and empower stakeholders.

The OGRA Chairman said that the project was initiated in August 2024 through discussions between OGRA and FBR.

This initiative will provide a solution to the challenges related to illegal petrol pumps and corruption. The launch of the ‘Rahguzar’ app reflects OGRA’s commitment to effective governance and a transparent energy ecosystem.
