PESHAWAR: Deputy Commissioner Injured in Firing on Government Vehicles in Lower Kurram.
According to media reports, a firing incident occurred on government vehicles in Lower Kurram, in which Deputy Commissioner Kurram Javedullah Mehsud was injured.
Initial reports indicate that Deputy Commissioner Kurram Javedullah Mehsud, who was the victim of the firing, has been shifted to Tehsil Lower Alizai Hospital in an injured condition. Apart from the Deputy Commissioner, a police officer is also reported to have been injured.
Additionally, local sources state that reports of stone pelting and firing on government vehicles have been received near Irfani Killi in Tehsil Alizai, District Kurram.
Meanwhile, a grenade attack was carried out on the house of a police officer in the Daudzai area of Peshawar. This incident took place late last night.
According to the police, the officer was accompanied by SP Warsak and the driver. No casualties were reported as a result of the grenade attack.

On the other hand, after the Kurram Peace Agreement, a convoy of 75 large freight vehicles was sent to Parachinar under a security fence, while Information Advisor Barrister Dr. Saif was also present to send off the first convoy to Kurram.
According to the report, the Kurram district administration stated that after the peace agreement, aid convoys left for Parachinar. The road, which had been closed for several months, was opened, and the process of clearing the Parachinar toll road is underway as per the Kohat Agreement.
Earlier, Barrister Saif reached Kohat late at night on the special instructions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Barrister Saif left Kohat for the border area of Kurram, Chapri. The Commissioner Kohat, DIG, district administration, and other police officers accompanied Barrister Saif.
Lower Kurram firing halts convoy departure
A convoy scheduled to depart from Lower Kurram has been halted following a firing incident in which the Deputy Commissioner of Lower Kurram was injured.
According to the Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, the firing occurred in Lower Kurram. Due to the tense situation, the first convoy has been temporarily stopped.
Earlier reports had suggested that the convoy had already departed.
Barrister Saif further stated that the injured Deputy Commissioner of Lower Kurram, Javedullah Mahsud, is being airlifted to a medical facility. The Deputy Commissioner is reported to be out of danger.
