Pakistan’s renowned YouTuber, Saad Rehman, also known as ‘Dakki Bhai,’ has denied allegations of joining the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM), citing ongoing threats to him and his family.
In recent days, videos and images featuring Dakki Bhai with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori have widely circulated on social media, showcasing interactions with the media. In the wake of this viral content, speculations emerged suggesting Dakki Bhai’s affiliation with MQM.
Responding to the circulating misinformation on social media, Dakki Bhai released a video statement on the social networking platform X (formerly Twitter).

Dakki Bhai stated, “False news about me is spreading on social media, resulting in death threats against me and my family.”
“I have been a YouTuber for the past 7 years, am currently a YouTuber, and will remain so for the next 10 to 15 years. I had no interest in politics before, and I still don’t,” clarified the YouTuber.
He emphasized, “Although I meet politicians who respect me and invite me for meetings, it does not imply my engagement or interest in politics.”
Dakki Bhai highlighted that “credible magazines and social media accounts have propagated untrue information, asserting my involvement in politics.”
In conclusion, he appealed to his fans, urging them to report any false news in the comments and requested vigilance against such misinformation.
