ISLAMABAD: Ahead of the final protest by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the administration has once again imposed Section 144 in Islamabad, the federal capital.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner has issued a notification for the implementation of Section 144 in Islamabad for two months, according to which the gathering of five or more people in the federal capital is prohibited.
In the official notification, it is stated that religious, political, or any kind of gathering, as well as the display of weapons, will be banned in Islamabad for two months.
According to the notification, the use of loudspeakers, sound systems, wall chalking, throwing pamphlets, and the open sale of petrol in public places will also be banned in Islamabad for two months.
It should be noted that Section 144 was imposed in Islamabad earlier as well, but it ended on November 17.
It should also be remembered that the Tehreek-e-Insaf has given a final call for protest in Islamabad on November 24, and the PTI leadership is busy with preparations in this regard.
Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, is also seen as very active in ensuring the success of the protest. She has held meetings with party leadership and leaders, including members of the assembly, at the Chief Minister’s House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
