ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has given a final call for protest in Islamabad on November 24, 2024.
After meeting Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, his sister, Aleema Khan, while speaking to the media outside the jail, said that the PTI founder stated: “On February 8, you brought a revolution. You came out on February 8 and exercised your constitutional right; you snatched power from the elite and became powerful. But on February 9, the entire mandate was stolen.”
According to Aleema Khan, the PTI founder said, “Your stolen vote was given to a select few, and the independence of the Supreme Court was taken away.”
Aleema Khan added that the PTI founder urged his supporters, including farmers, lawyers, and the public, to “come out because of the situation in Pakistan. It is the responsibility of lawyers to stand up for the protection of the Supreme Court.
Civil society must come forward; this is your future. You have to come out for the rule of law, judiciary, democracy, and the mandate that was taken from you.”
