ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad has ordered the immediate release of ten arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNAs after granting bail in all cases.
On Monday, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain ordered the immediate release of all the MNAs while hearing their bail pleas. The court has approved bail of Rs. 30,000 for each of the accused.
During the hearing, prosecutor Raja Naveed informed the court that Member of the National Assembly Ahmed Chatta is also named in the case, and the provisions imposed carry a minimum sentence of three years.

The prosecutor requested the court not to grant bail to Ahmed Chatta. In response, Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain inquired whether anything was recovered from Sher Afzal Marwat, Ahmed Chatta, and the other MNAs, to which the prosecutor replied in the negative.
Cases have been registered against the PTI MNAs under terrorism provisions at the Sangjani, Tarnool, Noon, and Sambal police stations. These MNAs include Sher Afzal Marwat, Sheikh Waqas, and Ahmed Chatta.

It should be noted that 11 members, including party chairman Barrister Gohar, were arrested in Islamabad after PTI’s Sangjani rally on September 8.
These members include Waqas Akram Sheikh, Zain Qureshi, Malik Owais, Malik Amir Dogar, Ahmed Chatta, Zubair Khan, Ahad Ali Shah, Naseem Ali Shah, Sher Afzal Marwat, and Yusuf Khan. However, Barrister Gohar was later released.
These leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf were arrested in response to the violation of the NOC issued for the rally and the strong speeches of PTI leaders.
