ISLAMABAD: Traffic police in Islamabad have announced a traffic plan for the Urs of Imam Bari Sarkar, stating that key roads leading to the shrine will be closed to heavy vehicles, and visitors are advised to take alternate routes.
As per report, Special parking spots have been set up, with shuttle services provided to take visitors to the shrine of the 17th-century Punjabi Muslim Sufi saint.
Islamabad Bari Imam Urs Parking Plan Update:
Those arriving on bikes and cars are urged to park their vehicles only in the designated parking areas.
Vehicles arriving via Kashmir Highway should park in the first lot, where shuttle services will be available to transport them to the shrine.
Vehicles traveling on Murree Road will be directed to the second parking lot near Radio Pakistan Chowk. Islamabad Traffic Police will manage the traffic and assist the public.
Heavy vehicles coming from Murree Road towards Bari Imam will be diverted at Radio Pakistan Chowk towards Kashmir Highway.
Heavy vehicles coming from 4th Avenue towards Bari Imam will be redirected via Murree Road to Margalla Road.
