ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry announced that six additional passport offices are now operational at the new, modern Regional Passport Office in the capital, Islamabad Capital City (ICT), As per media report.
Mustafa Jamal Qazi, DG Passports, stated that to obtain an Islamabad resident passport, individuals should visit the new building located at the I&T Center in Sector G10-4.
Qazi stated that modern facilities have been made available for citizens in the new state-of-the-art building.
“Separate special counters for women and senior citizens have been established in the new building,” said the Director General of Passports.
“Citizens will not need to queue at the new passport office,” Mustafa Jamal said. “Passports will be processed under the digital system in the new building.” He assured that by deploying additional staff, the problems of citizens could be resolved on the spot.

The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, a branch of the Ministry of Interior, is responsible for issuing passports.
