Cambridge releases O/A Level, IGCSE exam results 2024 for students in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Cambridge International Education released the results for the largest-ever June 2024 exam series covering Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), O-Level, and International AS and A-Level exams globally .

The exams experienced a 9% increase in entries, surpassing the 1.6 million mark globally, according to an official statement from CIE.

In Pakistan, more than 100,000 students took exams at 683 schools for Cambridge O-Levels, IGCSEs, or International AS and A-Levels.

There were over 226,000 entries for Cambridge O-Levels and IGCSEs, and more than 125,000 entries for Cambridge International AS and A-Levels from students nationwide.

Among the Cambridge O-Level and IGCSE entries, the most popular subjects included Pakistan Studies, Islamiyat, Mathematics, English Language, and Urdu as a Second Language.

Meanwhile, among the Cambridge International AS and A-Level entries, the most popular subjects were Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science.

This year, however, Business overtook Chemistry, and Computer Science entered the top five, replacing Economics.

Cambridge offers a free Online Results Service, which is the quickest and easiest way to access your exam results.

Signing up for this service means you will receive an email as soon as your results are released. You can then go online to check your results.

How to Sign Up for the Online Results Service;

  • Visit the Cambridge English Online Results Service and click on the Register button.
  • Enter your Candidate ID and Secret Number from your Confirmation of Entry.
  • Enter your email address and select a password.
  • Cambridge will send you an email confirming when your results are available. You will then be able to log in to view your results.
