Punjab Schools Announce Summer Holidays from May 25 Due to Heatwave

LAHROE: The government has announced to keep schools across Punjab closed for seven days from May 25 to May 31, 2024, due to increasing heat. While summer vacations have already been announced in educational institutions from June 1.

In the notification issued by the School Education Department of Punjab, it has been said that the schools of Punjab are being closed due to a heatwave.

Govt announces public holiday in Pakistan on ‘Youm-e-Takbeer,’ May 28, 2024

According to the notification, 7 days of holidays are being conducted in schools due to a heatwave and heatwave in Punjab; all government and private schools will be closed from Saturday, May 25th, to Friday, May 31st, 2024.

It should be noted that the summer vacations have already been announced in the educational institutions of Punjab from June 1, 2024; thus, the summer vacations will start from May 25th in the schools of Punjab.

According to the notification issued earlier, the educational institutions will remain closed for summer vacation from June 1, 2024, to August 14, 2024.
