How Can Students Register for the Interest-Free Motorcycle Scheme 2024 in Punjab? – Apply Online for the Bike Scheme.

The Punjab government has officially initiated the enrollment process for providing 20,000 motorcycles on interest-free installments through the Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative.

Students are urged to promptly register for the program as an online portal has been introduced for this purpose.

Before delving into the registration process, it’s crucial to familiarize yourself with the essential details regarding the initiative.

What is the Interest-Free Bike Scheme?

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz introduced the education-friendly initiative, which entails a collaboration with the Bank of Punjab.

The scheme entails the distribution of 19,000 petrol motorcycles and 1,000 electric bikes among students, with selections made through balloting. There’s a specific quota reserved for female students.

Of the 19,000 petrol bikes, 11,676 are designated for male students, while 7,324 are allocated for female students.

Out of the 1,000 Electric bikes, 700 have been earmarked for male students, and 300 for female students.

Who Qualifies for the Motorcycle Scheme?

In Phase 1, regular students of a Degree College/University recognized by HEC can apply for the interest-free motorcycle scheme.

Initially, the scheme will roll out in Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.

Eligibility Criteria for the Bike Scheme Without Interest?

This presents an excellent opportunity for over 800,000 students across the province to acquire their own means of transportation. Applicants:

  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • Must be regular students of a Degree College/University recognized by HEC.
  • Must possess a valid motorcycle Learner’s Permit/Driving Licence.

In case of receiving applications exceeding allocated quotas, e-balloting will be conducted.

Where to Enroll for the Interest-Free Bike Scheme?

Eligible students should visit the following link (https://bikes.punjab.gov.pk/register) to commence the registration process.

They are required to input their full name, email address, CNIC, and Gender details on the registration page, after which they will create their password to initiate the application process.

How to Apply Online for the Bike Scheme?

Upon completing the registration, applicants must fill out the form to apply online for the motorcycle. They will choose between petrol or electric motorcycles. Here’s the link to log in and apply: https://bikes.punjab.gov.pk/login
