QUETTA: The prices of mutton, beef, and various vegetables have increased in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, during Ramadan 2024.
According to market sources, the price of goat meat (mutton) has increased by PKR 100 to PKR 2,100 per kilogram, while the price of beef has increased by PKR 50 to PKR 1,100 per kilogram.
The government-set rate for mutton is PKR 1,700 per kilogram and the rate for beef is PKR 900 per kilogram.
In Peshawar, citizens are at the mercy of profiteers, with complaints from citizens about the non-implementation of the government’s price list.
