Yesterday, Supreme Court Judge Justice (R) Mazahir Naqvi also resigned from his post.

A reference against Justice (retd) Mazahir Naqvi is pending in the Supreme Judicial Council, where he is accused of having undisclosed assets, and an alleged audio involving him has also surfaced.

Two days ago, Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan expressed disagreement with the Supreme Judicial Council’s action against former Justice Mazhar Naqvi.

Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan did not attend today’s meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council, and he parted ways with the council, resulting in the inclusion of Justice Mansoor.

The Supreme Judicial Council has decided today to proceed with the proceedings against the resigned Justice Mazahir Naqvi.

Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan also wrote a dissenting note to Justice (R) Mazhar Naqvi of the Supreme Judicial Council on various issues.
