In Peshawar, students who engaged in cheating during the MD CAT exam have been slapped with a 2-year ban, accompanied by the issuance of an official notification.
Khyber Medical University has specified in the notification that 219 students will be ineligible to appear for the MD CAT for the next 2 years.
The notification clearly states that transfer students are prohibited from participating in the MD CAT for the same 2-year period.
The decision to impose the ban on these students is based on a thorough report provided by ETA, as mentioned in the official statement.
It is worth highlighting that during the MD CAT exams held on September 10 this year, students were apprehended for using Bluetooth devices and other illicit methods for cheating in various test centers.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet took action by canceling the test when extensive cheating cases came to light.
