KARACHI: Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh, Maqbool Baqir, has ordered the cancellation of the MDCAT results 2023.

The spokesperson of the Chief Minister of Sindh said that the MDCAT test will be conducted again.

In this regard, the spokesperson added that Dow University has been instructed to conduct the MDCAT test.

According to the spokesperson, the FIA has also been directed to conduct an inquiry into the simulation in the test.

The spokesperson of the Sindh Chief Minister says that the date for conducting the test again will be announced soon.

It should be noted that yesterday, the Peshawar High Court ordered the re-conduction of the MDCAT test within 6 weeks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

After the widespread cases of cheating in the Medical Colleges Entrance Test came to light through modern technology, specifically Bluetooth, the High Court upheld the decision regarding the Medical Colleges Entrance Test and issued an order to conduct the test again within 6 weeks.

The Peshawar High Court made a clear and just decision regarding the re-conduction of the MDCAT Test within 6 weeks.

The judgment stated that the GIT had exposed massive cheating, after which the government decided to conduct the test again.

The decision further stated that, after the approval of the cabinet, the provincial government had decided to re-conduct the test due to instances of cheating in the test, without interfering in the matter.

The Peshawar High Court disposed of more than 70 petitions related to the test.

It should be remembered that technological innovation also taught students innovative methods of copying. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the use of modern devices for copying in the MD CAT exam on September 10 stunned onlookers.

Exam invigilators caught hundreds of students copying through Bluetooth devices, which were supported by a certain group.

Staff recovered a device used for secret communication from 213 students.

The holding device has 2 to 3 parts, one of which appears to be shaped like a card or pen. It requires a SIM card to activate it and also has Bluetooth capability. The device can be used for up to 8 hours due to the charging port.
