ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is getting ready for a clean and safe Eid ul Adha 2025. The Sanitation Directorate of CDA will give out over 200,000 special bags to citizens for properly disposing of animal waste during the festival.

This plan was approved in a high-level meeting on Friday. The meeting was led by Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner and DG Civil Defense Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Senior officials from the ICT Administration, CDA, District Municipal Administration (DMA), ICT Police, and other departments were also present.

A city-wide cleanliness drive will be launched, with a strong focus on ensuring animal waste is disposed of correctly. The CDA’s Sanitation Directorate will quickly collect animal remains from special collection points.

The traffic police will put a special plan in place for parking and traffic flow to avoid jams. A control room at Safe City Headquarters will operate 24/7 to monitor Eid operations.
