PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet meeting approved funds for the Ramadan Eid Package 2025 for 1 million poor families.
The provincial cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. He directed that the poor, orphans, and transgender people should be provided with a transparent package, and that poor families affected by terrorism should be included in the package.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that special care should be taken of the poor and disabled people. He emphasized that the package should be given to all transgender people in the province, and that the distribution of the package should be completed before 15 Ramadan. He also stressed that salaries and pensions should be paid on February 25.
The cabinet meeting approved an annual grant of Rs. 4.920 million for 15 orphan students studying in Abbottabad Public School, and decided that the Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium should be named after the founder of PTI Imran Khan.

The meeting approved the funds for the Cadet College Swat Phase-III project under the increase in land cost in line with the Supreme Court decision, and the release of Rs. 1028.673 million for the salaries of 3687 teachers of the Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation.
The cabinet meeting approved amendments to the Motor Vehicle Rules 1969 for better inspection of bus stands, and granted funds for the Auqaf Department.
The meeting also approved an internship scheme of Rs. 31,000 per month for BS Nursing graduates, and amendments to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Rules of Business 1985 for Science, Technology, and IT.
