Accordingly, 80 percent of the amount will be refunded if canceled 24 to 48 hours before the train’s departure, while 70 percent of the amount will be refunded if canceled within 24 hours of departure. Fifty percent of the amount will be refunded if canceled within 2 hours after the train’s departure.

Passengers must submit the original ticket and a copy of their CNIC for a refund, in exchange for which they will receive a cancellation slip and the refund amount.

For online ticket refunds, passengers must use the same service through which the payment was made. The same refund policy applied to POS tickets will also apply to online tickets.

However, online tickets will not be refunded after the train has departed, and online tickets cannot be canceled if there is less than one hour and 30 minutes remaining before departure.

Passengers should obtain accurate information regarding their booking and apply for a ticket refund in accordance with the refund rules. For more information, they can contact the nearest railway station or visit the official website of Pakistan Railways.
