Former Pakistan cricket team captain and selection committee member Misbah-ul-Haq’s son has been included in the local player category for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
In a post shared by the PSL administration, it was announced that Misbah’s son, Faham ul Haq, an Under-19 cricketer, has been added to the Gold category of local players for PSL 10.
The list of local players in the Emerging category was also revealed. Some notable names include Hunain Shah, Obaid Shah, Under-19 captain Saad Baig, and Shamyl Hussain.
The brothers of Naseem Shah were part of Islamabad United in the last season. They played an important role in the team’s victories, helping them win the trophy for the third time.

Hunain Shah scored the winning runs for his side in the final match against Multan Sultans, helping his team lift the trophy for the third time.
The next edition of PSL is scheduled to take place in April and May this year.
Meanwhile, the PCB announced a revised pick order for the upcoming PSL 10 draft.
The three previous Platinum categories have now been combined into two, while the number of Diamond categories has been reduced from three to one. Additionally, the Gold categories have been cut down from three to two, and the Silver categories have been reduced from five to three.
In the new draft pick order, Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick in the Platinum 1 category, followed by Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and Islamabad United.
Quetta Gladiators will start the Platinum 2 category with the first pick, followed by Karachi Kings.
The PCB also confirmed that the PSL 10 player draft will be held on January 13 in Lahore, starting at 12:30 PM.
