It has been decided to use the UAE as a neutral venue for India’s matches in the Champions Trophy.
According to reports, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting with UAE Cricket Board President Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak. The meeting took place last night in Sheikh Nahyan’s special tent in Ghotki.
During the meeting, both leaders agreed to use a neutral venue for India’s matches in the Champions Trophy, with Dubai being selected as the final venue.
It is important to note that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the use of a neutral venue for India and Pakistan’s matches.
According to an ICC statement, both countries will not play in each other’s country for the next three years. The Champions Trophy will be played in Pakistan and the UAE, with the tournament final schedule to be released soon.
