ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi ordered a crackdown on encroachments in Islamabad according to a report by Islamabad51 on Saturday.
As per the report, he instructed the staff of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to impartially remove and eradicate all encroachments without succumbing to any external pressures.
He commanded a joint operation against encroachments involving the Islamabad administration, CDA, and police.
Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa immediately took action on the direction of the federal minister and launched an operation against encroachments in Islamabad.
The authorities demolished enchroachments of Raja Gulfraz Farm in Sangjani Sasing and sealed another factory. The farmhouse, constructed illegally with 10 rooms on a 24 kanal area, was the target of a joint operation against encroachments led by the Islamabad administration and the police, with the DC and CDA in charge.
