ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, the ex-first lady, has arrived at Adiala Jail amid stringent security measures to visit her husband, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan, on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr 2024.
Under tight security, Bushra Bibi was transported from her residence in Bani Gala, where she is currently under house arrest, to Adiala Jail, where Imran Khan is detained. The road leading to the jail was partially closed to facilitate Bushra Bibi’s visit.
Following court orders, Bushra Bibi has been granted permission to meet Imran Khan on Eid.
Outside Adiala Jail, PTI supporters gathered to demonstrate their support for Imran Khan, rallying under the leadership of PTI North Punjab President Seemabia Tahir.
However, their efforts to approach the jail’s main gate were thwarted by the police, who had blocked the road leading to Adiala Jail.
