Eid ul Fitr 2024 School Holidays in Punjab: The commencement of the last and third Ashra of Ramadan 2024 is imminent, starting on Monday (April 1), as people eagerly await the arrival of Eidul Fitr.
Traditionally, federal and provincial governments declare public holidays for schools and other sectors to enable students and the public to celebrate the festival fervently.
This year, Ramadan is expected to last 29 days, with Eid anticipated to fall on April 10 (Wednesday). However, amidst the excitement, students are awaiting official notification regarding Eid holidays, which is yet to be issued by the government.

Expected Eid ul Fitr 2024 holidays for schools in Punjab:
Similar to other provinces, the Punjab government has not yet released an official notification for Eid holidays. It is anticipated that schools will observe six holidays from April 9 to 14 if Eid falls on April 10.
In the event that Eidul Fitr 2024 falls on April 11, schools in Punjab are expected to observe five holidays from April 10 to 14, with classes resuming on April 15.

The final decision regarding Eidul Fitr will be made by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee following the sighting of the Shawal moon.
