LAHORE: Unknown persons shot at the residence of private TV anchor Iqrar-ul-Hassan in Defense, situated in the capital of Punjab.
As per reports, the assailants fired two shots into the air at Iqrar-ul-Hasan’s house in Defense C area of Lahore within a short span of time before fleeing the scene.
Following the incident, a police team arrived at the location and confirmed that there were no casualties or injuries.
Iqrar-ul-Hassan mentioned that there had been a shooting incident outside his residence two days prior, and an application has been filed with the concerned police station to initiate a case regarding the matter.
According to the police, 9mm pistol shells were discovered outside Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s residence.
SP Cantt Awais Shafiq asserted that the incident is currently under investigation, with the aid of closed-circuit cameras being utilized for further assistance.
