Transition to a 10-Point Grading System ;

It’s important to note that the recently implemented grading system consists of 10 points (A++, A+, A, B++, B+, B, C, D, E, U) in contrast to the prior 7-point system (A-1, A, B, C, D, E, F).

Aimed at Reducing Competition: Purpose of the New System ;

The IBCC emphasized that the updated system intends to discourage the intense competition among students, parents, and educational institutions solely focused on achieving top marks. The new 10-point grading format is designed to improve the assessment and evaluation methods for students.
