When reached for comment, Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Akbar Nasir stated, “Azam Khan has not been arrested by the police or any law enforcement agency. However, a case has been registered by the police based on the complaint filed by Azam Khan’s nephew, Saeed Khan. The police are fully committed to using all available resources and information to locate him.”

Saeed Khan, the nephew of Azam Khan, submitted a written complaint to the Kohsar Police Station, urging appropriate legal action and the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) concerning the missing or abduction of Azam Khan. The complainant emphasized that Azam Khan, a distinguished grade-22 officer in the Pakistan Administrative Service, had previously served as the principal secretary to the former prime minister, Imran Khan.

As authorities continue their investigation into the case, the whereabouts of Azam Khan remain unknown, raising concerns about his safety and well-being. The police are diligently working to unravel the mystery surrounding his disappearance and bring forth any pertinent information to shed light on the situation.
