Multiple Constructions Demolished in CDA’s Anti-Encroachment Drive

ISLAMABAD: The ongoing anti-encroachment operations in various areas of the city are being supervised by the DG Enforcement, following the directives of the Chairman CDA.

On Friday, illegal constructions and encroachments were successfully cleared in several locations, including IJP, G-eight, F-eight, G-five, F-six, I-nine, G-nine, G-ten, I-eight, and Rawal Town. The government-owned land that had been encroached upon was reclaimed, and three trucks carrying illegal goods were confiscated.

Additionally, demolitions took place along the IJP service road, specifically targeting Chhapar Hotel, Sand Gravel Base, and Jhagi. In G-8, unauthorized hotels and fruit stalls situated on the green belt were removed.

Fences and walls that extended beyond the designated plot lines were taken down in G Nine-Ten. In the F8 parking area, encroachments were cleared, resulting in the seizure of a truckload of illegal goods.

Similarly, a truckload of confiscated goods was obtained from Sector G-5 Nadra Chowk. Lastly, encroachments on Lahtrar Road were successfully cleared, and the road has been reopened for public use.
