ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb left for Seville, Spain on Monday to attend the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4), scheduled from July 1 to 3.

On July 1, he will co-chair a roundtable on using private sector finance and deliver a keynote at the International Business Forum’s dialogue on improving investment in emerging economies through better credit ratings.
He will also address the General Debate and participate in talks on improving international development cooperation. At a UNICEF-hosted session, he will speak about directing financial resources towards children and youth through sustainable methods.
Another key engagement will be a session on “Swapping Out Debt for Development,” where Aurangzeb will share Pakistan’s viewpoint on transforming debt and using deposit protection tools for development financing. Additionally, he will join a panel on expanding financing for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to improve financial access.
