ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has launched a new initiative to promote motor sports in Islamabad. On the instructions of Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the CDA plans to develop modern facilities that will support motor sports and provide healthy recreational opportunities for the youth in the federal capital.
Senior CDA officials including Member Engineering, Member Planning and Design, and DG Building Control attended the meeting.
Chairman Randhawa said that CDA is making serious efforts to improve sports facilities in Islamabad. He stated that the goal is not only to promote motor sports but also to encourage other sports activities in the capital.
He added that sports help in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, and more facilities will be added for the youth. The chairman also mentioned that motor sports can help young people develop safe driving skills in a controlled environment.
Chairman Randhawa stressed the importance of modern sports facilities and said that motor sports also create opportunities for public engagement and community involvement.

He assured that CDA will provide full support in terms of infrastructure and logistics to promote motor sports in Islamabad, keeping public interest in mind.
