ISLAMABAD: Police have arrested the suspect allegedly involved in the recent killing of TikToker Sana Yousuf in Islamabad, as reported by a private TV channel.
According to the report, the suspect fled from Islamabad to Faisalabad after committing the murder of TikToker Sana Yousuf, and was apprehended there.
The ongoing report states that the suspect was apprehended with the help of CCTV footage and modern technology.
According to private TV sources, the suspect in the murder of Sana Yousuf has been identified as Umer Hayat, also known as Kaka, who himself is a TikToker. The suspect claimed to be a friend of the deceased.
It is evident that the case of the murder of 17-year-old TikToker Sana Yousuf in Islamabad, has been registered on the complaint of her mother. Sana Yousuf was murdered inside her residence in Islamabad yesterday, where she lived with her family.

According to the registered case in Sambhal Police Station, Islamabad, it was stated that ‘Yesterday a person suddenly entered our house and fired at my daughter Sana Yousuf, from which two hit her in the chest.’
According to the FIR, ‘an unknown person had fled after firing shots and upon our shouting, the locals had gathered. I took my daughter to the neighbor’s car and went to the hospital, but my daughter had died.’
The FIR also states that during the incident, her husband was not at home, only she herself, her Husband’s sister and her daughter, Sana Yousuf, were present at home.
According to the private TV channel, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said in his statement that Islamabad police arrested the suspect within 20 hours.
The police also recovered a pistol and the victim’s mobile phone from the suspect. The minister added that the suspect has confessed to killing Sana Yousuf.

Who was Sana Yousuf?
Sana Yousuf was only 17 years old. He belonged to Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province but his family had been living in Islamabad for some time.
His TikTok account has almost 81,000 followers. Yesterday (Monday), a video of her birthday was shared on her Instagram account, showing her celebrating her birthday with her friends.
Most of his videos are showing his friends in Islamabad, walking around different places and enjoying food. According to the investigating officer, the deceased’s parents and relatives said that Sana Yousuf had never received any threats from her family or anyone else due to being a social media influencer.
