KARACHI: A well-known psychologist from Pakistan, Professor Syed Haroon Ahmed, passed away today in Karachi.
His funeral prayer will be held, April 4, 2025, on Friday after the Friday prayer at Masjid Abu Bakr Siddique, near Bilawal Chowrangi by the Shell Petrol Pump, Block 2, Clifton, Karachi.
Professor Syed Haroon Ahmed will be buried at Korangi No. 1.5 graveyard near Korangi Creek in Chakara Goth.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons, and one daughter. Professor Syed Haroon Ahmed helped start mental health support in the country and took part in social and political movements.
He was also known for his work on human rights, minority rights, and secularism. He served in the field of medicine for nearly six decades.
