ISLAMABAD: The new members of the federal cabinet have been assigned their ministries.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification after approval from the Prime Minister.

According to the notification, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has been appointed as Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Parvez as Minister for Petroleum, and Hanif Abbasi as Minister for Railways.

Khalid Magsi will oversee Science and Technology, Moeen Wattoo will handle Water Resources, Muhammad Junaid Anwar will lead Maritime Affairs, Raza Hayat will be responsible for Defence Production, and Shaza Fatima Khawaja will take charge of Information Technology and Telecommunication.

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has been given the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. Rana Mubashir Iqbal has been assigned the Public Affairs Unit, while Mustafa Kamal has been appointed as Minister for National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination. Aurangzeb Khan Khichhi will manage the National Heritage Ministry.

Mukhtar Ahmed Malik has been appointed Minister of State for National Health Services. Talal Chaudhry will serve as Minister of State for Interior and Narcotics Control. Wajiha Qamar has been made Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training.

Malik Rasheed Ahmed Khan has been appointed Minister of State for National Food Security and Research. Abdul Rehman Kanju will oversee the Power Division and Public Affairs Unit. Aqeel Malik has been made Minister of State for Law and Justice.

Bilal Azhar Kayani has been assigned the Ministry of State for Railways. Kesomal Kheal Das will serve as Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. Muhammad Aoun Saqlain has been appointed Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.

Syed Tauqeer Hussain Shah has been appointed Adviser to the Prime Minister on the PM Office. Muhammad Ali will serve as Adviser on Privatization. Pervez Khattak has been appointed Adviser on Interior Affairs.

Haroon Akhtar has been made Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production. Huzaifa Rehman will assist in National Heritage and Culture. Mubarak Zeb has been assigned Tribal Affairs. Talha Barki will serve as Special Assistant on Political Affairs.
