ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has released a new seniority list. Justice Sarfaraz Dogar is now the second senior-most judge after Chief Justice Aamer Farooq, as per the notification.
The court’s administrative committee has also been restructured. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq has been appointed as chairman. Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro will serve as members.
According to the notification, Justice Sarfaraz Dogar is now the senior puisne judge. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani has moved to the second position. Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb is third, while Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri is fourth.

Justice Babar Sattar ranks fifth, and Justice Sardar Ishaq Khan is sixth. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir is seventh, followed by Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz at eighth. Justice Khadim Hussain holds the ninth position, and Justice Azam Khan is tenth.
The list further places Justice Asif at the eleventh spot and Justice Inam Amin Minhas at twelfth.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq has also reshuffled the departmental promotion committee. The new committee will include Justice Sarfaraz Dogarand Justice Azam Khan. The notification was issued by Additional Registrar Ejaz Ahmad with the Chief Justice’s approval.
