Javed further mentioned that the university will continue to introduce employee-friendly policies in the future. Last year, in April, the salaries of all staff members were also increased.

He pointed out that while other institutions were laying off employees or reducing their salaries during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sir Syed University did not lay off any employees or reduce their salaries.

He clarified that the salary increase announced so far applies only to grades 01 to 04, and that the remaining grades will see salary increases in the next phase.

On the other hand, Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali said that this increase is an effort to bring positive changes in the employees’ lives. He noted that the success of Sir Syed University is a result of the hard work of its staff, and the salary increase will help further enhance their performance.
