Lahore: National cricketer Salman Ali Agha has said that reports about Saim Ayub suggest he will recover before the Champions Trophy.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Salman added that everyone should pray for his quick recovery. He also said that the team is preparing for the Champions Trophy, which will be held in Pakistan.
Salman told the media representatives that he had worked a lot on his bowling, and the results were good. He also said that he has no hesitation in batting at any position. He pointed out that international stadiums allow fans to see players up close, and this will be a great experience for fans in Pakistan as well.
He mentioned that he has played a long season and there is more cricket ahead, so he is well prepared. While the Champions Trophy is on their minds, the West Indies series is also important.
Regarding the PSL, Salman said they will try to perform as well as they did last year. As Islamabad United are the defending champions, the pressure will be high, but they aim to give a strong performance and win.

He also mentioned that they know which players to pick for the PSL, and the team’s preparation is complete. He said that Fahim Ashraf was a key player for Islamabad United, and they cannot replace him. He wished him the best for the future.
It should be remembered that Pakistan Cricket team opener Saim Ayub is out of cricket for six weeks due to a right ankle fracture. He suffered the injury while fielding on the first day of the second Test against South Africa.
